Both currencies have seen dire shortages in the United States and most of the rest of the world with currency exchanges and money services businesses often themselves unable to find either, and when they periodically have the prices have soared, creating an interesting situation in which the market rate more than doubles while the exchange rate sees no movement with any correlation to market demand or supply.
I personally haven't been able to find VND or IDR for less than 150% of the actual listed exchange rate since late spring or early summer of 2020.
The Vietnam banknote is uncirculated. The Indonesia banknote has been in circulation and is in average overall condition for a circulated note.
