  • Condition: This 1968 Acoustic Research AR-XA Turntable tone-arm rest is in fine condition except for the bottom-most section (with threads) broken. The embedded metal piece is still intact. It will nevertheless fit through the turntable hole and can be glued or epoxied from the bottom and should work fine, even with the head about 2 or 3 mm lower. Some have suggested rethreadding the bottom portion of the post. The top part of the rest is perfect and has actually had very little use.
