Antique Railroad Chain Binder  - LS 32
No marking on the puller to indicate the maker
One chain is threaded through the loop and and secured to something. A second chain is pulled by walking the two hooks along its links by levering a three-foot wooden handle placed in the tapered socket. Used in lumber camps and on farms and perhaps on railroads for clearing dead-falls from the tracks.
Actual WT. 17 lb. 10.4 oz.

This is a local estate sale find.
I have not attempted to clean, buff or oil it in any way.
Scuffs and scratches present.
