    Description

    If you need a project like a scarf where draping in not much of an issue, try spinning alpaca. If your project needs to keep its shape, it can also be blended with any kind of wool. Alpaca has been used for its fiber for thousands of years. The fiber is soft, warm, with a special shine and a wonderful drape. The color is 100% natural black, with a dark chocolate and redish highlights throughout the fiber. More of a rich dark chocolate color. This fiber will felt.

    All my fiber comes from a smoke-free, pet-free environment.
    I used to store my fibers with lavender sachets, but I don't anymore as I have learned that moths hates disturbances and some people are allergic to lavender. Now I dust and clean more frequently and move things around but I still include a lavender sachet with each order, unless someone requests me not to. If you don't want the lavender because you are allergic or for some other reason, let me know on the comment section, or send me a message.
