They are created for the serious Vinyl Lover who wants the High-End Vinyl listening experience, wants some really special gear, and can afford the privilege.  My Beograms are not for the bargain hunter but considering all aspects including the Warranty and Service after the sale, they are an incredible bargain with an exceptionally High-Value factor.
The BG 8002 was manufactured from 1982 to 1987.  W
ith both Computer Controlled Tangential Drive and Tangential Tracking, they were famously innovative and unique. With the stellar performance of the MMC2 & MMC1 Moving Iron Cartridges, these iconic decks were very highly regarded and
desirable
among Vinyl Lovers around the world.  Still very much so to this day.
This 8002 is a one owner, lightly used for less than three years and stored for thirty +.  It is 100% original, notwithstanding the electronics.  It has undergone the complete 'frame-off' restoration process.  The Rosewood trim is original  The Dust cover has been totally refinished to better than new condition.  No scratches or swirls and as clear as polished glass.  These high-resolution photos in the description are of the machine you will receive, taken shortly before the listing.  More photos are available for the asking.
The electronics have been thoroughly gone through on the bench, re-flowed and upgraded to better than new condition with
ALL
new high end Capacitors i.e. Vishay, Panasonic, Roe, Wima, Ero, Rubycon, and Philips.
(see photo #9).
The keyboard has been completely dismantled and restored with fresh contacts and anti-static tape.
The contacts in the muting device are also freshly cleaned and tested.
Other upgrades include additional Damping and special soft rubber belt for a whisper quiet Tracking Motor and re-enforcement of known common problem areas that tend to wear and fail with time and use.
It is offered as cartridge optional.  The bid and BIN price are for the Turntable and your choice of Interconnect Cable only, without a cartridge.  An original **MMC1  is available...  0.00.  OR, make an offer for a bundle deal.  This MMC1 has low hours and shows less than 10% wear under the microscope.  Photo #12 is a 200X magnification of the Stylus and Cantilever.  It has been comprehensively sound tested and guaranteed to be perfect through both channels upon arrival.
No additional Warranty is implied or given.
Your BG 8002 will come with the original User Manual and Section 5 of the Service Manual for future reference on maintenance and adjustments.  It will be professionally prepared for transport and double boxed for added protection.   It will NOT show up damaged.
If you use a B&O receiver, I will include the original 5 pin DIN interconnect cable.  If not, I will furnish an OEM B&O Interconnect Cable made specifically for the 8000 series with RCA plugs and integral ground wire.

YOUR NEW B&O TURNTABLE IS WARRANTED FOR ONE FULL YEAR AGAINST ANY ELECTRONIC OR MECHANICAL FAILURE.
Parts and Labor.
Great care has been taken to ensure that you will receive a
perfect Turntable
.  None-the-less, it is still possible that a problem may arise due to transit, the dreaded surprise factor, or human error.
Any such problem will be dealt with swiftly and on a
TOP PRIORITY BASIS.
In most cases, your Turntable will be on its way back to you the very next day.
You can have full confidence that there is absolutely no problem that I cannot fix, nor
any
part that I don't have.  Even if your one of your Grandkids knocks it off the shelf.  I've got your back.
If it is something that can be remedied over the phone and you are confident in your mechanical ability to perform the task, I will send you parts, detailed instructions, illustrations, and talk you through it on the phone.
If it cannot be done over the phone, I will ask you to return it to me for repair, no charge for one full year from the date of purchase.  Free round trip return shipping within 60 days from D.O.P.
Due to the high cost of International shipping, I cannot extend the free return shipping beyond the Contiguous United States.  However,  you can rest assured that I will go the extra mile to get your problem taken care of, including parts and illustrated instructions or Videos.  I will also work with your local Tech or "HANDY" friend to make any repair.
