    Description

This beautiful doll is a ballerina from Mattel’s Classic Ballet Series. She is Barbie as Marzipan in The Nutcracker. She has quite a fair complexion. She has brown eyes with blue accents and soft rose eye shadow. Her lashes are rooted, not just painted. Her pursed lips are pink. She is dressed in pale pink and blue. Based on a nude Marzipan doll I once owned, this doll may be showing 1991 Mattel Inc on the back of her head. She may also show 1993 Mattel Inc Malaysia across her back. Her body is likely built similar to the live-action dolls from the past – sort of on a ball or pivot. She is quite poseable at the waist. Her straight arms can lift up, and out from her sides. Her hands are held in a ballerina’s pose, with dainty fingers. Her legs are a lighter plastic material that cannot be popped into different positions. Her feet are very tippy-toed, in an en pointe stance, so unable to wear typical shoes. This doll has never been removed from the box so is in mint condition. However, the box shows quite a bit of shelfwear, with dents. It still looks decent for display. Hopefully the pictures will do this justice. The doll may even be ideal for a literature project. ~~ Please see my other auction items. Buyer to pay all shipping & handling costs, but shipping may be combined (for destinations in the U.S. and Canada only). International bidders will be responsible for separate shipping costs for each item purchased. ~~ My combined shipping policy is this: I weigh the entire package after you have finished bidding over a week's time (unless we agree ahead of time to a different time-frame). I estimate the shipping fee based on that weight and your zip code, using the USPS website. I add a handling fee for the first item. That fee is already included in the amount shown on the item description’s shipping calculator. It covers the costs for packaging, printing, and gasoline. Delivery confirmation is covered at no extra cost. I charge handling for each additional item. I ship using USPS Priority Mail, both locally and to Canada. Feel free to message me for an estimate if you are considering bidding on multiple items, or if you have any questions. Please be sure to request a combined-shipping invoice if you win multiple items from me. Also, if you are a return customer, remind me and I may be able to reduce the handling fees. Thank you for looking.
