    Description

I have an extremely nice Denon DP-61F fully automatic turntable with
    Sumiko Pearl Cartridge
    for sale.
Unfortunately, I have to list it as “parts or not working” due to part swappers and dishonest Buyers.
However, as you can see in the video link it functions perfectly.
I am the second owner of this Denon DP-61F.
I installed a Sumiko Pearl cartridge.
I enjoy the rich warm sound of the Pearl.
The DP-61F is Denon’s top of the line fully automatic turntable.
I have been repairing vintage electronics for over 30 years.
My personal turntable is a Denon.
The quality and craftsmanship is outstanding.
With a little care and preventative maintenance, these units will provide many additional years of enjoyment.
This is a US model designed for 120VAC (no step-down transformer is needed).
I highly recommend a surge protected power strip at least.
I include a new Tonearm Level Gauge.
It is imperative to have the tonearm neutral balanced and level for accurate electronic tracking force adjustment.
I polish the plinth and dust cover as part of my normal cleaning process.
The dust cover does have a few small marks/scratches.
The plinth is in extremely nice condition, except for the right rear corner.
The previous owner hit the rear corner when moving it.
They repaired it using epoxy and did a nice job.
It is noticeable from the back and when the dust cover is lifted.
However, when I used it for a couple weeks, I did not notice it as it is up against the wall and under the dust cover.
    Please see pictures.

The following lists what I have done to the unit.
Replaced all electrolytic capacitors (top of the line Nichicon & Wurth Elektronik)
Replaced photo resistors (known to go bad, use for tonearm position)
Oiled tonearm and motor where needed
    Cleaned all push button switches
    Cleaned all potentiometers
Replaced Dustcover Front Black Rubber Bumpers
    Checked all screws for tightness
Polished the Plinth and Dust Cover
    Aligned per manufactures specs:
    Adjusted the head gap
    Adjusted the phono-motor lock 33 1/3 & 45 rpm
Adjusted the horizontal & lifter operational amp offsets
    Calibrated the electronic tracking force
    Adjusted the record lead-in position (30cm & 17cm)
    Checked tonearm balance
Verified actual tracking weight on a scale against dial
    Tested all functions
