He is considered a master of copperplate engraving. For him, an ex-libris was primarily a sheet of paper for use, which is why he almost only created small-format sheets. He is one of the ornamenters, and many of his students adopted his style, which is why we speak of the Cossmann School today. - Small remnants of assembly on the back.
