Imagine an almost 99 % proof method to protect your information on Intellectual Property (assets) and personal data? I have developed a method to keep your desktop safe; almost all desktops use a cable (RJ45) connection. This is used by me and by the people I work with. How it works and how to use it:
Generally, most people leave their computers connected to the internet (network access) when they are working on the internet or locally, and even when they go home it is still connected. In some cases even if they put it in sleep or hibernate, your computer is still physically connected to the internet by an ether-network cable (RJ-55). There are two (2) options to prevent anyone from getting into your computer, turn the computer off, or pull the ether-network cable (RJ-55) out of the back of the computer or from the modem, your provider, it may be very hard in some cases to do this.

So while you’re working on a local computer (not on the Cloud), and you are creating a Document, Drawings, Text, or a Patent (could be a provisional), at this point your connection to the internet. And you may have turned your internet off; this is not always the case. Even if you think you have the computer connection (red X in the box on the screen, bottom right) off it is still connected to the internet in some cases, I never take the chance because I hear the hard drive being accessed, and I look at the Task Manager. In any case, you still may be connected to the internet; at this point, you’re not safe, the data in your computer may be compromised. So if you turn your computer off (power switch Off) once more you think it is off, once more not the case, I personally had my power (front switch) off and I heard the hard drive moving and being accessed, what to do. Somehow the network card must be doing something. I know most all of the experts will tell you this is impossible, all I can say is what is making the hard drive move and being access? So I personally came up with almost a 100 % solution to this problem.

(ON-OFF Internet Device)”, I also call it an Internet ON-OFF Switch box for simplicity (being clear), What it does without going through a long and technical explanation is it allows you the user to connect and disconnect to and from the internet with a flip of a switch. What is inside is a safeguard IP complex device; I have a patent-pending. Anyway if you use it as it comes out of the box, it allows you to go back and forth between connected to the internet and then back to your local, and you can do this as much as you want. and other countries hacking I have to do this, another point, I disconnect from the internet (using the ON_OFF Internet Device, to OFF) and then I run a scan with a good antivirus program, and I do this process very fast, Never run a scan or a Antivirus while on the internet, this is my recommendation. People don’t realize that if you download an antivirus program, or protection type software, as soon as you download it, it may be corrupted very shortly (why do they have updates?), “download the antivirus fast, then disconnect and then run the antivirus software. This is a method using the “ON-OFF Internet Device” that will more than help to protect your Intellectual Property (IP) and almost all of your other data. By the way, I only file Provisional Patents, when you’re a small company or inventor it is hard to afford a big patent (utility/Design Patent).
I also have a device that is closely related to this “ON-OFF Internet Device” but it incorporates the connection/disconnect for an External hard drive using a USB connection. It allows you (the user) to not only connect but have this extra feature (USB Disconnect), while you’re on the internet, it disconnects the USB external hard drive, and this is really a double safeguard. All of this is manual control and is hardware only, this way No one can change it but you the user, I designed it that way. Both of these features are in one device (Box) if you order it that way, we have both types of devices; this is an option regarding the USA external Hard drive (deluxe version).
These devices can help save your data from a virus on your local hard drive and or external hard drive, and I have a nice step by step sheet of how to use this method. It is very easy, and the hook up the RJ45 is about a 1-2 minute process. I use this all of the time because I have to save guard and after months of design and hard work I can imagine losing my work, and I do use an external hard drive all the time, with the Disconnect “ON-OFF Internet Device” and either of my hard drives are not being accessed, only by me. To me, this is a very big thing.
OK, you see I made these devices manual for a reason; nothing can change them, or get in while in the OFF position. And I always just flip the switch and go do something else, like an experiment, or bathroom break, then come back and hit the F5 Key (refresh) and it comes right back to where I was.
