    Description

    Delta Triple Duty Grinder name plate
    This is a very high quality reproduction name plate for the vintage Delta 110 volt single phase twin wheel grinder.
    We laser cut an anodized and brush finished aluminum backing plate to match the size and shape of the original nameplate. The plate has holes spaced at 4.562” center to center to match the original rivet holes in the grinder motor housing. The plate is formed to the contour of the grinder motor.
    A high quality decal was created replicating the original Delta artwork and applied to the face of the plate.
    The colors of the printing on the plate are burgundy and black on a clear background.
    The plate will be provided with two (2) original style stainless steel drive rivets, and also two (2) stainless steel 5-40 pan head screws.
    When we reattach nameplates, we prefer to re-drill the original holes with a #38 drill bit and then tap them for the 5-40 screws, so installation and removal of the plate is easier.
    If the old rivets are not removed cleanly, the plate can be shifted slightly and new holes drilled into the motor housing.
    The Model number on the plate was intentionally left blank.
    Delta stamped this info in the plate but we preferred not to, based on the decal being in place on the aluminum backing.
    Good photos were a bit tough to get, based on the plate’s curvature and the reflections produced by the camera.
    Unfortunately, we cannot offer free shipping, since this item needs to be carefully packaged in a cardboard box.
    Shipping is .75 for anywhere in the lower 48 states.
    Other destinations will be quoted and shipping will be added to the sale price at actual cost.
    The flat (unrolled) backing plate is also available separately from us, for those who wish to mount our vintage Delta ½, ¾, and 1 hp motor decals on a plate rather than applying them directly to the motor.
