OLD RECORD PLAYER PHONOGRAPH EXTENDED LIFE NEEDLE - "BENNETT 4000 PLAYS"

THE BENNETT "4000" NEEDLE. "FINEST OF THEM ALL" they claim, "With PLATINUM Metals Tip". Made to play old 78 RPM Records on a phonograph/ turntable/ record player that has an electric pick-up and that uses a thumb screw to secure the needle. They claim that it should play up to 4000 times before the needle needs to be changed. Made by the Paul Bennett Company of Chicago, probably in the 1940's. It would probably also work on some of the 1930's machines, but I suspect that a medium to light weight tone arm would be a must. That's about all that I can tell you about this one.
