The midrange full bodied, and the bass is where it excels. Put together the balance has been called in reviews by a description of (“Goldilocks”) just right. The sound is warm and bright with dynamics exposing high frequency detail as you would expect from Ortofon. Reviews have been excellent for this cartridge. The addition of the OM 30 should produce an immediate and audible improvement in sound quality.
