RCA 45EY2 Converted to 12VDC Power with a 12VDC Solid State Amplifier, and 12 VDC Motor. It can be completely portable when powered by battery power, or it can be stationary and powered with a 120VAC to 12VDC adapter. As with any record player it must be level when playing.
*This player works with great tone and volume after the conversion to the 12VDC Solid State Amplifier and, 12VDC Motor. See the attached video below.

Condition: there are some light scuffs on the Bakelite case, and there is a very small chip on top of the spindle that does not affect play.
*It can be powered by 8 double AA Batteries in a battery holder that has a on/off switch. I locate the power input connection, and power source to the outside the player which eliminates the possibility of internal damage of the player due to battery leakage.
*It can also be powered by a 120 VAC to 12VDC adapter. Either can be used to power the player and are simply plugged in.
Record Changer:
*A new cartridge has been installed and the Tracking force has been adjusted.
*The record changer has been cleaned, re-lubricated and, adjusted.
*New rubber has been installed on the cycle cam.
*The idler wheel has been refurbished or replaced.
*New Motor Grommets.
*New Chassis Mounting Cones.
*The top (Plinth) of the record changer has been freshly repainted.
*Plays 12 to 14 records depending on record thickness.
