Technics SL-1301 Turntable, NOS Shure HA95E Cartridge, Excellent!!.
Quartz lock direct drive and fully automatic operation..on board is a new old stock Shure HA95E P-Mount cartridge. This combination sounds very…very good. I completely disassembled this machine and did a meticulous deep cleaning..removed/replaced old sticky grease…lubricated the spindle..cleaned the switches and the board..added fresh dampening oil..and sound/functions tested this for at least an hour or two. All functions work as designed. Condition is excellent throughout with minimal defects on the base..some oxidation on the platter..the mat is soft and pliable..the cartridge is new..the cover is excellent with some surface swirling and scratches (no cracks)..please check the pics to verify the condition. Taken altogether this is as nice of a 1301 that I have seen in a while…is quite heavy—built Technics tough.

This machine will come partially disassembled. You will need to mount the platter—and the drive belt in belt drive machines—the counterweight..and in some cases the anti-skate weight. DO NOT operate the machine without first properly balancing and setting the appropriate tracking weight. If you do not know how to do this there are tutorials available on YouTube, or you can call me and I’ll walk you through it.
