There is no platter but the tonearm did track an lp
Yes I placed an lop on the cyclinder (I had to manually rotate the motor
to get it to spin there was a slight squeal but it did spin)
No guarantee it will continue to spin
It actually sounded pretty good until it started to hum
I do not know if it is the cartridge head
The cover is badly scratched
