    tested with 220v on phase converter. motor in good working condition, electricals working fine. turns on and runs fine. bearings spin free but need to be at least re-greased before put into heavy service. i put some oil on the bearings since they are a bit dry but the outside bearings need grease before use ideally.
    please note that there was a crack in the motor housing that was fixed. the buffer runs just fine and this does not affect its use. crack was vee notched, nickel welded and ground smooth.
