    Description

    We have for you today a very rare tray from the 1904 World’s Fair, St. Louis, U.S.A. also called the Louisiana Purchase Exposition. This tray is silver plated, depicting Neptune and Mermaid, with long flowing hair and cape. Amongst the plants and isises is the Date, “1904”, and also “V.P.”, as raised mark on a flacon being opened by Neptune. Neptune is very detailed, wearing his crown, robe and bangles. The tray is resting on four ball feet. The tray is in good condition considering its age, it measures 9 long by 7 6/8" wide by 1 3/4" tall. Measurements are approx.
