vintage Railroad Hammer Embossed NYC & HR - coal Steam Locomotive tool

Offered is a very interesting vintage Railroad Hammer from an estate
It is embossed NYC & HR on one side
I searched google and I think these initials are for New York Central & Hudson River
I suspect this hammer may have been used to break up the coal chunks used in the Train engine
The other side has what looks like LO260, I suspect this is for Steam Locomotive 260 ?
The head is approx. 5" long, one end is approx. 1 1/2" and the other is 1"
The handle is metal, overall it is approx. 12 1/2" long
hopefully someone would like to add it to a collection or can put it to good use!.... Thanks for looking! ....
