Vintage RCA 45 RPM Record Player 6-EY-3B Masterpiece Restoration

Description

A stunning restoration of this RCA 45 rpm record player.
Please examine photos carefully. They are a much better description than can be written.
There are a lot of good restorations on ebay. There are very few great ones.
Case:

All old covering material removed

Case repaired to be structurally sound

Expertly recovered with high quality Tolex vinyl cabinet material. This is the same material used on custom guitar amplifiers.

All new brass plated hardware: hinges, latches and handle brackets. Handle is original.

New grill cloth

Vibration damping feet have been added to the bottom. The original metal feet on the side have been replaced with new rubber feet.
Mechanism:

Completely disassembled, cleaned, reassembled, adjusted and tested

New parts; idler wheel, cycling cam, motor mounts and chassis mounts.

Motorboard ( chassis ): Old paint removed, primed, painted, and clear coated.
Amplifier:

Old selenium rectifier replaced with a modern diode.

All new capacitors.

New AC cord.
Cartridge:

New cartridge with diamond stylus.
