This is a beautiful original watercolor painting of a Seal Point with Chocolate points Siamese cat, gracefully lying on a table while sunning, a true aristocrat surveying its domain. The painting comes professionally framed in a 14” by 18” traditional style wood frame, with mahogany stain and a black beaded inner edge (see photos). The neutral beige matt beautifully accentuates the colors of the composition. The artists name is simply stated on the front of the table edge as Joanna, The date of the painting is unknown--if I took a guess, I would say maybe 1960s or 70s. The painting and the frame are both in excellent vintage pre-owned condition (see photos).
Please keep in mind this is a vintage item, not a new item. I try to describe items as accurately as possible, mentioning any obvious flaws for accuracy of condition. Crazing and manufacturing flaws such as pin heads, color variations, straw marks, bubbles, inclusions, and other manufacturing anomalies are considered normal for glass, china, and pottery of age.
