Vintage Sony TTS-3000A Servo-Controlled Turntable System (No Tonearm) with Documents
This Sony turntable mechanism has been tested and is in excellent functioning condition.
The previous owner said that he had just had it professionally serviced and based on how well it is working, I am inclined to believe him.
The strobe light illuminates as it should and the bubble level works as well.
Cosmetically, it possesses only minor signs of previous use (see pictures).
“506 66 2492” is scratched into the silver trim near the top back right corner of the plinth as shown in picture #7.
Included with the turntable is, according my research, a DU-4 dust cover. I suppose that it could be another model of dust cover that I didn’t see in my research, but I can’t say for sure.
The documents include the original owner’s instruction manual, original mounting pattern, and photocopies of the instrument installation instructions and a letter from Dr. O. Mabuchi, (Vice President, Product Engineering Division).
