William Byron will celebrate seven-time NASCAR® champion, Hendrick Motorsports teammate, and racing All-Star Jimmie Johnson during the 2020 Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway. As part of the Official Throwback Weekend of NASCAR, the paint scheme of Byron’s No. 24 Liberty University Chevrolet will roll back the years to 2013 and Johnson’s record-breaking 2013 All-Star Race win. Johnson won that race after a two-lap shootout in the final segment, making him the first driver to notch four All-Star Race victories. He then went on to capture his sixth NASCAR Cup SeriesTM title at the end of the 2013 season.
