BRAND NEW FRESH RUBBER
- These are the freshest available because I sell a lot of them and store them (along with my o-ring stock) in a cool, dry, double sealed container.
Fits the Rek-O-Kut models B-12H, B-16H, K-33, K-33H, K-34H, L-34, L-38, N-33H, N-34H, NL-33H, S-34H, the Radine L34, the Empire models 208, 398, 498, 598 I-III and 698, and they are also suitable for use in the Echoplex EP2. These fit a 3/4" hole, and do not fit the Rek-O-Kut Rondine 2 or R-34H, which take a smaller grommet.
Industrial, commercial and residential usage in various vibration isolation applications such as fractional HP motors used in HVAC, air conditioners, furnace, ventilation, automotive, marine, aviation and medical.
These are the "soft" ones.
Here's the specs for this product from the Lord website:
Maximums:
Axial Load = 1 lb / Axial Spring Rate = 16 lb/inch
This means that as long as your motor assembly weighs less than three pounds for a three point mount or four pounds for a four-point mount, this grommet will be in spec. I have had no user complaints.
Most reasonable priced isolator on internet! Unbelievable some wanted each!!
The grommets made my Troubadour 598 II super quiet, ordered the soft ones

Exactly what my Empire TT needed
Here's a passage touching upon the grommets, written by a contributor to the Audiokarma forum, who has amassed a history of the Empire turntable ("Some Empire Turntable History"). It's a great read and very authoritative! Read it:

"Speaking of Rek-O-Kut, this is a good place to address the similarities between the two companies. Both were based on Long Island, New York, both utilized AC synchronous motors sourced from Pabst of West Germany, and
both companies even used the exact same motor grommets
sourced from Lords of Pennsylvania. Both companies also featured heavy cast platters balanced for perfect balance with a built-in 45 RPM adapter and bearings that even today are marvels of precision engineering. Styling is also similar, although Rek-O-Kut’s are more utilitarian with their boxy bases, gunmetal gray baked on finish, and red rubber platter mats. Rek-O-Kut also concentrated on idler driven turntables, but the one belt drive model they did produce is uncannily similar to the Empire."

LORD Grommet Isolators provide reliable, effective, economical vibration and shock isolation for light loads. Suitable applications include: computers, disk drives, business machines, precision instrumentation and general industrial equipment.
Grommet isolators are made of neoprene and natural rubber. They are oil resistant and space-saving, and provide good vibration isolation for disturbing frequencies above 30 Hz.
